It is best way to hide your person documents from public view and Adding or removing files from this folder won’t change any existing account, when you see any folder with this file name C:\Users\Default\Desktop then it is secure folder and no one else will able to view your documents which you have saved on desktop.

One thing which you have to remember that when you create a new account then Windows will copy the contents of this folder to the new account’s Desktop and your hidden folders and file will be visible to everyone so always keep this thing in your mind. There are many tools available which one should know and understand to provide security to folders and files. When you drag a file to the desktop or create any shortcut then Windows will place it in your private desktop folder. Important files and folders should be kept with utmost security and safety to safeguard it from hacking.
